That has become a nightly ritual with my big guy and me. :) I also love that you celebrate the half-years.Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15397287835698813025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018758625818023759.post-13030696199497188852008-05-30T23:41:00.000-04:002008-05-30T23:41:00.000-04:00Loved reading about your "Big Guy." My oldest just turned seven...and it is just amazing watching it all happen.

What a cute boy...and what a great post, Lisa!Kristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15100987270249746051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018758625818023759.post-74978601737628458142008-05-30T20:22:00.000-04:002008-05-30T20:22:00.000-04:00So I read your "Dinner Conversation" post the othe...So I read your "Dinner Conversation" post the other day and left without leaving a comment.

Then tonight I was doing the supper dishes while my MIL played up in the loft with all the children. As I heard the clattering of the Duplex bin empty, I instantly ran the question through my head, "Are there any choking hazard pieces in there that the babies might get ahold of?" Even though I know there aren't, I second guessed myself. Then I thought of you and your conversation with your Big Guy. Right there in front of the sink. I thought of the marbles, the Star Wars pieces and the gate code. Then I laughed--again. Just like I did the other day when I read it.

Just thought I'd share.
Tiff

P.s. It is so incredible to see how much they learn and how much they "know" even at such a young age- but sometimes it's a little sad to think that just a few short years "ago" they were little toddlers :( Your Big Guy is so much fun to read about. And I love the 6 1/2 year picture!! :)Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03583292886495078958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018758625818023759.post-88865557272191652052008-05-30T18:40:00.000-04:002008-05-30T18:40:00.000-04:00What a spirited and independent Big Guy!
