It reminds me of: Being pregnant with my first child and still working full time. The lady I worked for (and still do) would bring me a huge bagel stuffed with cream cheese every morning. And every morning I would eat the whole thing and wash it down with OJ. It is no wonder that I gained 55 lbs, right? The really sad thing is that with my second pregnancy I watched what I ate more closely and was more active with a 15 month old. With all that extra work and no daily bagel, I gained 50 lbs. Which leads us to my theory of "your bodys gonna do what its gonna do." Now I wish I had gone ahead and had more

Um, YUM! WHy didn't someone think of those sooner?
I agree with your theory on pregnancy pounds. With daughter I threw up constantly for 4 months, then only craved fruit and lemonade. With my son, only fatty, carb-filled sandwiches and tcby made me happy and not sick. I gained 34 lbs. with both. But then again, I was not a tiny person to start with (I'm 5'10") so I don't think I had as far to go. Go figure.
hhmmmm... I'll have to try them. I've seen them adversised, but havn't actually seen them in the store. I LOOOOVE bagels, but I've been buying the small whole wheat ones to force portion control. (except when I eat 2 or 3)
Pregnancy was the only time I could eat ice cream. For some reason, my body was not lactose-intolerant while with child. And lemme tell you, I made up for the lost time. (The bagel thingies look good, too, though.)
I totally love bagels and cream cheese, too! There was a year there- a few years??- that I had it every morning! Now I'm hooked on whole wheat english muffin with almond butter... mmmm - i'm getting hungry now. great!
Just curious...You said you're putting yourself and LG on a gluten-free diet. Is this because of allergies or behavior stuff?
I'm wondering this because I had my oldest daughter on a "trial" gluten/casein (dairy) free diet for about a month to see if it helped with some of her behavioral outbursts. This was months ago, and honestly didn't seem to make much of a difference, BUT I have a good friend who has her sons on the same diet and it does wonders for them. But they're also allergic, too, so....
Anyway, I was just curious! Those look yummy, by the way!
I saw these a few weeks ago and I was curious but I guess I just figured it was easier and cheaper to do my own...but you have me interested now!
