The Big Guy is 8 today. I can't believe it. We have had fun celebrating but because I don't download pictures for 6 months at a time, I am posting this hospital picture of him. Haha...first-time-Mom-me. I guess by the humongous size of me I assumed he would be gigantic and his clothes ended up being too big. Could we not afford a cuter hat? Did they not sell cute baby hats way back in 2001? He actually had a beautiful little head but I think the scary nurses wouldn't let me take one off of him EVER. I couldn't wait to get home away from those nurses so I could do what I wanted to do. He was as red as he looked here and was jaundiced by the time we got home. That is a whole 'nother story. Don't mention Billi Bed around me if you can help it.
Happy Birthday BIG guy. Eight is great.

Wow...6 seems so old! :) He was an adorable baby!!
Yeah, I meant to type 8...although 6 does seem old to me too!
Awww...what a cute baby...white hat or not! Hope he had a great day. I was sorry to read that your nurses were so mean. I was thrilled to have all the help because I was virtually clueless. Both my boys also had jaundice; the firstborn was the most trying since -- again -- I was clueless and worried when he so much as sneezed. I won't say your dreaded term, but I do wonder if that word you speak of is the same as the biliblankets we Yankees use up here. :) My younger one had to have one on the front and the back and glowed bright green whenever he wasn't nursing for quite some time. Now I wanna see pics of the Eight cake! :)
I know, I can't believe they are 8 either. Mine keeps talking about her next birthday when she turns NINE!!! That really does sound old. How did we get so old? Didn't we JUST start this whole parenting thing?
A very cute photo! Eight is a fun age.
I brought home a yellow child also...
