Sucker

My picture from 2 months ago that I forgot to post. That is my kiddo hanging out by the dangerous fireplace. She used to move my protective pillows and make a seat for herself there. Now she has taken to climbing up on top and dancing. Not good.

I feel pretty

Aren't these cute? You can find them here. I wish I was the type that might wear one. I don't really need them for what I do with the microwave. I can just hear the many many questions I would get from my kids if I wore one. I wonder what you are supposed to put in that pocket? A recipe? Just wondering...

Cherry Blossom

I was in D.C. a few weeks ago during the Cherry Blossom Festival. This is the only one I saw. It was cold! I was happy to stay in my friend's home and eat GOOD food (B., I only got one piece of that cake!). I slept late every morning. It was heaven.

Easter Wrap Up in Pictures

Why yes, I am still talking about Easter. It just happened didn't it? I can't even remember this last week it was such a blur.

This is my Baby Girl running carefree barefooted through the ants instead of sitting pretty with her brothers.

This is my boy trying to help me out by holding her down for a picture. He doesn't get that her screaming isn't the best picture. He also doesn't understand why I don't think it is funny that in every one of our lovely family pictures he is cross-eyed.

He let her up.
With Grammy on her back porch swing. Before they hunted for Easter Eggs and Little Guy's eyes swelled up as big as the Easter Eggs.
Again, showing us just what she thinks about being held down for pictures.
Lastly, Baby Girl having a snack (because that is what life is all about). She is looking at the Globe we gave to Grammy and our Aunt and forgot to tell them that we got them for free and they are sort of a joke.

Here comes Peter Cottontail

I got the eggs dyed. Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

We went to our church's Easter Egg Hunt today. Told you about the hat...
It was so sad when she put her basket down and a big man stepped on it. You should have heard the C-R-U-N-C-H. I'm glad she was too little to be upset about it. I don't do the cute Pottery Barn baskets in the mud, y'all.
It is a rare appearance by me with my 3 kids. One of them is hiding behind me. Baby Girl is holding a packet of M-n-Ms she found. She didn't put it down for at least an hour and a half. Only at Moe's when she couldn't hold both her drink and quesadilla at the same time did she abandon it.

A shout out to the Powell Power kids. That is Mom's head at the bottom. :-)

"OOOOHHHH NOOOOO! I got something on my hand!!!!!" (You can see that written all over her face.)

Dad to the rescue.
I'm not sure I should be showing this one below. It seems a little risque to me. I saw the same picture on the wall of Abercromie at the Mall tonight (minus the Hanes logo).
My oldest was too cool for school and chose to not participate in the Egg Hunt. What? Not participate? Because he wouldn't do it, the Little Guy wouldn't do it either. What a pain. I later saw the Big Guy pulling eggs out of his pockets and eating the candy. Baby Girl was the only one that would pick up eggs and put them in her basket. Once she figured out there was candy inside she gave up on that. Since we have odd kids we decided to bail on the long line of free hot dogs and eat at Moe's.

Every time we mentioned eating at "Moe's", Baby Girl would grab her "Nose". That is just one of those things that I find so very funny even though I know you won't.

His "after picture". You can tell his allergies are bad but people haven't been staring at him as much. You can't even tell where he cut his hair (and it only took 4 months). He was waiting to dye eggs. From the time I boiled them he asked continually "are they ready yet"? He was the only one into it so I was thankful that someone cared.

This is my Hubby holding up an egg for my picture because the boys are too busy playing with Star Wars stuff. They are wearing matching shirts. I intend to get away with that as often as I can...while I can. It won't be much longer.
Happy Easter!

I am sad to report that I have been so involved in my business, family and life these last few days that I have not been focusing on what this holiday really means as much as I usually do. I am sure I will be moved to tears tomorrow (as usual) and look forward to being with my family all day and realizing what Easter really is. Hope you can too!

John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. (NIV)

So Far in April and I hate my camera post

This first picture pretty much sums up April. The flowering trees started to attack my Little Guy. Like he doesn't have enough problems with his bad haircut? I took this picture to show the Dr. in case he looked a lot better at his appointment that afternoon (he did). We got stares everywhere we went. He took some steroids and is on some other meds plus eye drops so he only looks about half this bad now.
Little sisters hanging out at the ballpark. I am sad to report that I forgot to wear sunscreen on one 3-hour baseball tour.
I hate my little camera. I don't think I have said that in a month or more so I felt it was time after downloading my pics today. At first I thought it was just seeing the difference between $300 and $3,000, but I really think it just sucks. I'm sorry to use the word suck on my blog but I think it just fits here.

I took Baby Girl to a playdate-egg hunt yesterday. I have been gone all week and when I got home I said "let's go out and take your picture!" She proceeded to run and fall into the corner of my coffee table. It was pretty bad and now she has a big bruise mark in the shape of a line down her face. Right before Easter.

This little girl was pretty cute, though:

Here are the little girls about to get a cupcake. I think Baby Girl and her friend might have fought over that chair except they couldn't take their eyes off of the cupcakes. I let her eat one and when I removed her from the table it was full-on-fit time. It was remarkable. I can't blame her. I feel that way when I run out of chocolate too. Get used to seeing Baby Girl in her baseball hat. She seems to like it and wears it most days. She won't keep a bow in but she will wear this hat. It keeps the hair out of her eyes so I don't mind so much. She wore it to the East Egg Hunt and through lunch at Moe's today. Her Easter dress for tomorrow has some pink in it so I think it will lovely together.

While I am writing the going-nowhere post, I want to show you the Little Guy's picture he took this afternoon. He is our artsy child and I think it shows here. (Only a mother could be so proud.)

An unexpected Twilight moment on my blog

Not the usual picture-posting of my kids sitting in flowers. It is much more inspiring, don't you think? He is not one of my kids, in case you were wondering.

My friend Emily assures me that he is tall and he does indeed bathe. She is also having a contest giving away this stuff right here.

Love,

Cougar

Pregnant Again!

Not even...
April Fools, of course.

I have an 18 month old today. How did that happen!?
