Here comes Peter Cottontail

I got the eggs dyed. Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

We went to our church's Easter Egg Hunt today. Told you about the hat...
It was so sad when she put her basket down and a big man stepped on it. You should have heard the C-R-U-N-C-H. I'm glad she was too little to be upset about it. I don't do the cute Pottery Barn baskets in the mud, y'all.
It is a rare appearance by me with my 3 kids. One of them is hiding behind me. Baby Girl is holding a packet of M-n-Ms she found. She didn't put it down for at least an hour and a half. Only at Moe's when she couldn't hold both her drink and quesadilla at the same time did she abandon it.

A shout out to the Powell Power kids. That is Mom's head at the bottom. :-)

"OOOOHHHH NOOOOO! I got something on my hand!!!!!" (You can see that written all over her face.)

Dad to the rescue.
I'm not sure I should be showing this one below. It seems a little risque to me. I saw the same picture on the wall of Abercromie at the Mall tonight (minus the Hanes logo).
My oldest was too cool for school and chose to not participate in the Egg Hunt. What? Not participate? Because he wouldn't do it, the Little Guy wouldn't do it either. What a pain. I later saw the Big Guy pulling eggs out of his pockets and eating the candy. Baby Girl was the only one that would pick up eggs and put them in her basket. Once she figured out there was candy inside she gave up on that. Since we have odd kids we decided to bail on the long line of free hot dogs and eat at Moe's.

Every time we mentioned eating at "Moe's", Baby Girl would grab her "Nose". That is just one of those things that I find so very funny even though I know you won't.

His "after picture". You can tell his allergies are bad but people haven't been staring at him as much. You can't even tell where he cut his hair (and it only took 4 months). He was waiting to dye eggs. From the time I boiled them he asked continually "are they ready yet"? He was the only one into it so I was thankful that someone cared.

This is my Hubby holding up an egg for my picture because the boys are too busy playing with Star Wars stuff. They are wearing matching shirts. I intend to get away with that as often as I can...while I can. It won't be much longer.
Happy Easter!

I am sad to report that I have been so involved in my business, family and life these last few days that I have not been focusing on what this holiday really means as much as I usually do. I am sure I will be moved to tears tomorrow (as usual) and look forward to being with my family all day and realizing what Easter really is. Hope you can too!

John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. (NIV)

We have allergy kids here too--the allergy capital of the country...or something like that anyway. His hair looks great also!

Moe's and nose--I DO think it's very cute!

I get tears on Holy Thursday also.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter. Great pictures. You got a better one of my kids than I did! lol. And I'm definitely making an appointment to get my roots done this week. ;)
Can BG get any cuter!? Can't wait to see her at music class Tues.

I don't think we have a Moe's around here, but I can't be trusted because I am not a Mexican food fan. I love the Moe's/nose reference! So cute.

I also do the matching shirts thing. You will probably see evidence in an upcoming post. I'm glad to know your boys still go along with it even though they are too cool to hunt Easter eggs. :)

BTW, Your Abercrombie comment almost made me snort.

Hope you had a blessed Easter!

These are GREAT picture. I seriously laughed out loud about the "risque" picture- that was hilarious. Baby girl looked like she had so much fun... despite the crunched basket and dirty face!! Wait- the dirt on the face makes it MORE fun, doesn't it? Or, was it chocolate!??!
