Yep, you guessed it. It is a Rubik Cube that has been taken apart. We awoke to The Big Guy at 6:22 AM yesterday saying "Daddy, I am SO sorry, but The Little Guy picked up the Brain Quest cards and the Cube was on top and it fell to the floor and broke. They are such little liars. I have been reminding my husband that it fell to the carpeted floor and just broke like that. He had to give the ongoing speech of "I have had that thing for 25 years and you break it in 5 minutes." He put it back together although I doubt it will ever be the same again since glue was involved. I believe the Snake was slightly broken awhile back. I don't even know where it is right now.

Did you know that you can Google Rubik and find many sites that will help you figure out how to solve that puzzle. How did I ever grow up without the Internet? I had to learn everything the hard way. Actually, I doubt I could even follow the Internet instructions so never mind.

At least they didn't pull the stickers off, right?!?

I would never have the patience to read the internet directions. Besides, then I would *really* feel like a doofus if I had to follow someone's directions who is probably half my age and doesn't even remember the frustrations we went through over that silly thing in the 80s.

P.S. What is "the Ted"?!?

I second the sticker thing. So, on a positive note, I guess it could have been worse!?

Would you believe my brother-in-law figured out the cube on paper before he ever owned one? I guess my inlaws figured since he went through all the trouble, they finally bought him one.

Wow! I didn't know this was possible.

P.S. - Love your blog description. Are there really Legos in your dryer?!
