Skinny Santa Tiger

That is me on the far left. I had my hair pulled back because I was a serious artist on this day.

I went to a painting class with some friends. We painted our college mascot. My friend on the far right lied to all of us and told us it would be paint-by-numbers. We showed up with our wine, nuts and had to ask why there were blank canvases with no numbers on them. It took a little more wine to have the confidence to move forward on this project. We were rather proud of ourselves when it was over. The other husbands were very impressed and couldn't believe we did it by ourselves. My Hubby asked why my work of art looked like Santa Clause. I spent all my extra time making him look that way.

I like fluffy.

It must be because of my recent Slim-Down contest that I made him so skinny looking. I only realized that after I was finished.

Whoa! That is pretty impressive! I'll bet your kids got those genes and can draw some pretty mean cars on Doodle Pads, too.

I got excited for a fleeting second in hopes that you had posted a pic of your new haircut. But it looks cute pulled back. My hair looks totally dorky pulled back even though it's long. And you look as skinny as your mascot(and not at all like Santa), BTW.

Ha. When I saw the picture, I thought it must be your group photo from the slim down with your #1 winner signs. Then I read your post. oh. Good job painting! You all painted the same thing, in different weight brackets. Didn't the teacher think you copied from each other?

Wine, nuts, and paint? Sounds like a recipe for a fabulous work of art. What a great idea...to promise paint by number in order to get your friends to the studio.

I like your santa..I mean mascot. ;)

I too am impressed with your art work, Lisa. I should send you my best drawing...I make a "mean" stick person! No, really, I have no artistic skills when it comes to drawing. My kids are usually disappointed when they ask me to draw something for them and then they see what it looks like! Scary!! :-)
